Responsibilities include:

• You will be driving Business Development initiatives ensuring they align with the business’ strategy with a focus on affiliates and institutional clients across the globe.
• Responsible for not only finding regional partners (Master IB’s) in Malaysia but then supporting those partners going forward
• Responsible for building business for the company through gaining affiliates through social media, references, websites, previous contacts etc.
• Manage and grow relationships with selected affiliates and partners
• Lead new affiliate and IB onboardings, working closely with Compliance to collect appropriate documentation and resolve open items
• Attend face-to-face meetings with both prospective and existing clients both locally and abroad
• Attend expos and corporate events both locally and abroad in order to generate business

To be successful in this role you will need;

• Proven experience as a Sales/Business Development professional
• Extensive experience in Equities, FX, Indices, Commodities and Crypto
• Have contacts in South East Asia (specifically Malaysia) that you can use to build out business.
• Experience in relationship management and client retention
• You will have a good level of English as well as being a fluent or native Malay speaker
• Excellent IT skills
• Accuracy, precision and attention to detail
• Excellent communication both written and verbal
