Experimental newsfeed
The DDH development team is continuously working on new and innovative functionalities to increase the added value of the portal for its users.

This section is part of the DDH Lab and features a completely autonomously compiled news feed based on an experimental methodology. Algorythms developed by DDH search the web for relevant information and then put the results into a chronological content sequence.

Further information
This news feed is generated without editorial influence. It is a completely automatic, algorithm-based processing of search terms that have directed visitors to the portal page or have been used as search terms in the various areas of the portal. The search queries are weighted according to certain criteria and integrated into a global web search as new search parameters. The results are returned as a news feed. This section of the news feed thus focuses on specific terms that are characterised by a certain concentration, frequency of queries, a general popularity or show characteristics of trends or patterns. It is a news screening algorithm based on an AI that is continuously trained.

DDH Lab

As with all DDH Lab developments, these are early stage technical components. Their inclusion in operations is deliberate and follows the principle of agile further development. Agile' also means here that concepts - if they do not prove to be practicable - or are not accepted by the user, are discarded. As a rule, however, innovations emerge from the majority of experimental applications over time and use, which are often accompanied by unique selling points or disruptive processes.
