The stock market is not a game of chance
Online broker XTB is stepping up its investor and financial education activities. Up to 8,000 participants are expected at the XTB Investing Day 2021 on 19 November.
This year's XTB Investing Day promises to be one of the biggest conferences for private investors. For this online event, the platform operator is bringing 17 experts in professional trading on the capital markets to the stage. Renowned speakers such as the stockbroker and fund manager Dirk Müller and the investment specialist and best-selling author Marc Friedrich explain there not only their assessments of the current market situation, but also give assistance for targeted trading on the stock market.
The financial market professionals, including bloggers and traders from HeavyTraderZ, Trading Freaks and Financial Fitness - Fuat & Marta, will introduce participants to the world of stocks, explain initial investment steps and present relevant assets or investment instruments. The concern is to arrange the necessary knowledge for a lastingly successful investment for the participants. Thus, Christian Rieck, Professor of Finance at the Frankfurt University of Applied Science and proven expert in game theory, will answer the question of why stock market is not a game of chance.
"Trading on the capital markets should not be gambling," explains Eliza Dygutowicz, who represents the German business for XTB as one of the world's leading Forex & CFD brokers. The orientation of the investor conference was deliberately chosen to facilitate access to stock market know-how for the participants, she said. "In an increasingly complex investment world, we need to enable people to understand the products and the interrelationships in the capital market. Only then can they make financial decisions consciously and responsibly."
XTB presents itself in this context not only as a knowledge broker, but also offers the necessary technological solutions and market access. For investors, this can be useful even in the short term, because the conference also addresses the current events on the market for cryptoassets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. In addition, the experts also present trading strategies for the upcoming Black Friday.
The event is expected to attract up to 8,000 registrations on November 19, 2021. Attendance is free of charge. Presentations and advanced content will be available online for up to 14 days after the Investing Day. In addition, the Trading Academy is available to XTB users, which offers in gradation of the individual prior knowledge lessons, courses and webinars on active stock market trading.
